The International Exhibition of The Art of Truth-Compassion-Forbearance is an extraordinary and deeply moving event that offers profound inspiration by authentically portraying both the inner spiritual life and the human rights tragedies unfolding in contemporary society.

The majority of the artworks—comprising realist oil paintings and Chinese watercolors—are created by Chinese artists, providing a unique perspective on the spiritual discipline of Falun Gong (also known as Falun Dafa).

The Foundation of Morality and Peace 

Truth, Compassion, and Forbearance are not merely the title of the exhibition, but also:

• The most fundamental characteristics of the universe

• The foundation of human morality 

• The cornerstone of peace and freedom

These values transcend the boundaries of time, space, culture, religion, and politics.

The Meaning of Life

Since ancient times, humanity has constantly sought answers to ultimate questions:

• What is the mystery of life?

• What is mankind's place in nature?

• What is the meaning of existence?

Traditional Chinese culture has always emphasized harmony: Heavenly Timing, Earthly Advantage, and Human Harmony.

Art as a Methodology to Convey the Truth 

Many artists have chosen to explore the meaning of life through their creations. Their works:

These creative endeavors do not merely aim to please the senses, but rather to seek higher wisdom and truth. In other words, they view art as a vehicle to explore and convey the ultimate truth. Their artworks transcend mundane beauty and possess the power to purify the human soul. This is the very kind of art that can endure through time.

About The Artists

The artists participating in this exhibition are all practitioners of Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) who deeply cherish the three core principles of Truth, Compassion, and Forbearance as their most sacred values. Through their spiritual practice, these artists have come to realize that the purest and most beautiful form of artistic expression lies within traditional art. 

• What is Falun Dafa? It is a spiritual discipline that cultivates both mind and body, helping to improve health and purify the soul.

• The Goal of Cultivation: This practice is currently embraced by millions of people worldwide with the ultimate goal of returning to their original, true nature—a state of pure self, untouched by worldly notions and attachments.

Despite bringing forth such profound values, Falun Dafa is currently facing brutal persecution in its own homeland, China. These practitioners—including the very artists whose works are displayed here—must endure a cruel campaign of suppression executed through various means:

• Threats and mental terror

• Defamatory propaganda and violent distortion

• Arbitrary arrests, illegal detentions, and savage torture

A number of the artists in this exhibition have personally experienced this fierce suppression and were unlawfully imprisoned. Their artworks are not merely creative expressions; they stand as a living testament—written in blood and tears—to an unwavering faith in Truth, Compassion, and Forbearance.
